Part: Louise (20’s – 30’s)

We are looking for a Northern based actor to play ‘Louise’ in Dennis Kelly’s ‘After The End’.

‘Louise’ is strong minded, confident and popular person whose world is completely turned upside down after a terrorist nuclear attack. She finds herself in a nuclear fallout shelter with ‘Mark’ – a colleague from work. The pair are forced to spend days trapped together in a bunker and the relationship becomes more strained and dark the longer they spend together.

We are looking for an actor with exceptional skills and good comic timing to work with troublehouse’s Associate Director, David Crowley, on this dark and gritty play. Rehearsals will be mainly (but not exclusively) throughout the daytime so potential actors must be available during days as opposed to just evenings.

Show Dates:

24th-29th October, 6 performances (no matinee) at the Joshua Brooks, Manchester. This is a profit-share production.
