Scratch Night At Cultivate Festival 2022
troublehouse are proud to partner with the Oldham Coliseum as part of their Cultivate Festival 2022. Cultivate is a week-long festival focused on theatre upskilling; an unmissable opportunity for anyone wanting to get into any of the many areas of theatre.
Originally produced for the first time in 2018, Cultivate is back this summer at the Oldham Coliseum following a Covid-19 related break.
On Wednesday 20th July troublehouse will host ‘A Rose (Bruford) By Any Other Name…’ Scratch night performed entirely by past and present ALRA students. The decision comes following the school’s abrupt closure in March 2022 and the desire from both troublehouse and the Coliseum to support those affected. Students will have the opporunity to perform anything they choose, between 5-10mins long, on the main stage at the Coliseum. The performance will be hosted by Rick and Heather.
In 2019, Cultivate welcomed 200 people into the theatre for opportunities including Open Auditions, a Virtual Reality backstage experience, performances and workshops including physical theatre with Frantic Assembly, acting and producing with Box of Tricks and unarmed stage combat with Kaitlin Howard.
Students wishing to express an interest should email rick@troublehousetheatre.co.uk. Tickets will be available from the Coliseum box office or calling 0161 624 2829.
